Hello all.

I have searched the forums, and can't quite find an answer to this one, so here goes.

Trying to install Ubuntu 10.04 MinimalCD .iso onto my HP Mini netbook. Of course, no CD-ROM, I have to use USB. I burn the .iso to the USB using UNetBootIn, all goes well. Plug in USB, boot from the USB, presto, everything starts up as it should. I proceed to do everything I see in the menus that appear, and at the end of it, although I have mentioned in the partitioning stage to put it on the netbook's hard drive, I find the system being intalled back onto the USB key at the end.

Now granted, I have a new three week old in the house, but I don't think I am sleep deprived to the point of brain death, can someone please help me figure out just what the hell I am doing wrong here?

Thanks.

Tommie
