I just installed Ubuntu 64-bit 10.04 a week ago, my first experience with Linux. So far so good (mostly) except for a nagging problem.

I need to be able to run the Citrix Receiver (XenApp) client. After a bunch of research and trial and error, I got it (ver. 11.100.158406), the appropriate libraries and site certificates installed, and Citrix Receiver runs fine. It is able to connect to my company's Citrix server, and it appears to run software from the server.

The problem I have is weird. When I run a Citrix application, I can see a tab on the task bar at the bottom of the screen for the app. When I click on the tab to view the window, I can see the animation of the Window maximizing, but I can't see anything in the Window. I just shows whatever image was on the screen at the time.

This appears to be a screen drawing problem, but with my limited experience with Ubuntu/Linux, I have become quickly stumped. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
