Change from Ubuntu Studio to Ubuntu

I have Ubuntu Studio installed, which I've successfully upgraded to 10.10. However it comes without many of the new features of straight Ubuntu. After a bit of soul-searching I've realised that I don't really need the Studio version, though I've used it for the past 3 years. How do I go about moving to straight Ubuntu without a full re-install?

As long as you're happy with what you've got so far, it should work by installing ubuntu-desktop through synaptic or enter sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop in a terminal
