boot screen does'nt change after upgrade to 10.10

i have upgraded my ubuntu 10.04 to 10.10 with network upgrade.
but plymouth boot screen does'nt change and it's still the purple one for 10.04.

(There's nothing wrong with your English! :D ) Did you have any customization of the boot screen in Lucid? Upgrades tend to preserve anything with custom configurations. Are you sure you're running 10.10? Maybe something went wrong with the upgrade. The simplest way I know to find which version the computer thinks it's running is to open a Terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and type:
lsb_release -a
