View Full Version : [ubuntu] 10.10 Clean install internet fails after subsequent update. on ASUS 900A

I've done clean installs of 10.10 on a laptop, that went perfectly, and on an ASUS 900A netbook that has failed. The ASUS 900A has only a 4 gig SSD drive, but I suspect the problem may be connected to the wireless hardware, after the OS is updated, or third party software is installed.

Wireless works the ASUS 900A when I used the 10.10 live CD.

First, installed using checks for update while installing, and use third party, the wireless internet would not connect.

I did another clean install without the check for third party, and update while installing, and the laptop worked for several hours, but now has gone to the not connecting to the internet, although it does show that there is a wireless connection to the router.

I don't know how to submit bug reports, so I'm hoping someone here will know the answer.
