Hi
Typically I open an aplication (i.e. matlab) on one desctop, let it compute some stuff there (which may take a while), then go to another desctop and do some word processing or something.
The trouble is, when matlab on desctop 1 has something to say, this will pop up at my word processing desctop, which is anoying.
Essentially the problem is that the desctops are not really separate .
Is there a way to separate them properly?
