How do I install compiz fusion?

Can you install compiz fusion if you already have the standard compiz installed? Or do you have to uninstall compiz first?

If you have Compiz then you have Compiz Fusion. You can add the configuration editor and some extra plugins via System>Administration>Synaptic Package Manager. Search for compizconfig-settings-manager and compiz-fusion-plugins-extra.

to enable compiz right click on desktop click "change desktop backround" then click on the "visual effects" tab and then click on "extra"


if you dont have compiz installed then go to the terminal and type:
sudo apt-get install compiz
