Synaptics driver removed during 10.10 upgrade.

So post upgrade on an Acer Netbook ( originally installed from UNR image but running as standard ) trackpad is leaping around all over due to hideous sensitivity and tapping no longer works because the upgrade removed synaptics driver xserver-xorg-input-synaptics and didn't replace it with the Maverick version.

Your trackpad going nuts ? go install synaptics from synaptic :D

Fixed the problem. For those that this does not work for on the first attempt, try removing and re-installing it along with the xserver-xorg-input-all driver.
