Hi all
I had a system dual booting between 10.04 and winxp. Had some errors in xp boot partition. So without thinking too much I just formatted the C drive from ubuntu. Now as you can imagine, I can not boot in to the system. So I thought I will install fresh copy of 10.10. So downloaded the ISO and created a bootable USB stick. Booted up the system with USB stick, But now the installer says there is not enough space to install 10.10. Upon inspection I find that HDD is not listed any where. I tried to run Gparted. But it displays only USB drive as the only drive available.
Any way I can install 10.10 on to HDD. I have some data in a NTFS partition which I would like to save if possible.
Any help is appreciated.
TIA
