I am having issues with using Bluetooth PAN. I recently upgraded from 10.04 to 10.10. On my 10.04 system I used GNOME Bluetooth to setup a new device and once paired, it remembered this paring and when connecting from Network Manager, no passkey was required.

Now on 10.10, after I have setup the device using GNOME Bluetooth, which requires a passkey and pairs the devices. When I start PAN using Network Manager it asks for a passkey every time and essentially re-pairs with the phone.

There is already another thread in the now closed Maverick testing forum: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1569444&highlight=bluetooth

There is also a launchpad bug opened: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-bluetooth/+bug/638928

Has anybody else had success pairing a bluetooth device for PAN or DUN? Anybody got any ideas on troubleshooting this?
