At last I did it

At last I have go my beloved Ubuntu back. I managed at last to get the latest Hoary build installed and its working great.

Yep its good , but I am getting annoying freezes. Cant even get to the sys mon to see whats hogging the CPU at the time . But hey its a test version and thats part of the adventure. At least its there .

I got it install on an old hardrive I use for testing and had the same problem so far I trace it to a buffer overflow somewhere in the kernel, that's as far as I got, this coming Sunday I will look into it a bit more.
They might have a new beta by then.

Ah, yes...adventure. What every hacker longs for<g>.

I've had similar lockups/freezes/whatever - but, with every apt-get dist-upgrade, it (usually!) gets better & better.
