Hi guys
how to install ldap in ubuntu, i tried to google it and some results came but very confusing. i am trying to make ubuntu as server so i need active directory.if u have some new suggestions plz provide. thanks

You want LDAP server on Ubuntu and configure it against Active Directory ??

Hi
all i want to say that, i want somthing equivalent in linux as compared to active directory in windows. i am looking for a solution for installing ldap in ubuntu. sorry for misrepresentation.

Though I am not sure why latest OpenLDAP have slapd.conf replaced with cn=config :confused:
I would still like the older way of config file. I think there is some way of making that switch but haven't tried it.
