UNE alternate CD upgrade

Can I upgrade UNE with the alternate CD (10.04 > 10.10)?

I have some limitations on my connection and need to upgrade 2 systems - ubuntu desktop and netbook. I'd like to save on some download bandwidth.

Thank you. I am familiar with the process. I just wondered if it included componets specific to netbook edition. Unity for example.
