Grup and other upgrade questions 10.10

In past upgrades some questions have arisen about keeping prior settings of the grub and other settings. Does 10.10 have similar questions? There was never enough guidance as to the best way to answer those questions. What should I do, keep the old settings or to new defaults?

Could someone who has installed 10.10 comment please?

If you only have Ubuntu on the machine, use the new settings. It shouldn't even ask you in that case. It didn't ask for me.

If you multi boot then it might ask you, usually you can review the changes and make sure all of your OSs are listed in the one it will create.

Thanks for the reply. I hope it goes smoothly. At the moment I can not start to install it properly. I have posted another question on the problems I am having.
