10.10 Success - Kudos

Since this forum seems to be filled with stories of people having problems, I thought I would offer some encouragement by letting you know that I just upgraded two of my 3 machines from 10.04 to 10.10. Both of them had different hardware, different brand video cards, etc. Both of them are running the 64 bit version and had absolutely no problems upgrading from beginning to end. I'm about to hit up my 3rd one here shortly.

The new user interface/font is really nice btw, good job!

Good to hear your upgrade went well too. My trusty Dell Studio 1735 is very Ubuntu-friendly. Every upgrade goes without a hitch, and the Maverick upgrade has been the same :D

Just thought I'd chime in here and say that it went fine for me too. I'm having a small issue with the sound in Pidgin (it's staticy) but I hate the sounds anyway so I just disabled them. Everything else is working wonderfully.
