View Full Version : [ubuntu] How do I install Adobe Flash Player

Alright I just installed UBUNTU the newest version on my computer, now what I'd like to know is how exactly do I download and get adobe flash player to work in Mozilla Firefox? so I may view videos on Youtube and such.:)

try the following, shut down ff first

sudo aptitude install flashplugin-installer

You might also be interested in ubuntu-restricted-extras which installs a whole bunch of audio/video codecs, java, flash, fonts etc. Saves you some time...


sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
