I just installed Ubuntu 10.04 a few days ago and kept Windows 7 on my hdd. I happened to update Windows 7 and ever since then I can not get Ubuntu to start. The load screen will start up and I then get a message saying that /media/sdc1 is not ready or not present. Any help on getting this fixed is much appreciated!

When I try to boot in recovery mode I am getting the following:

fsck from util-linux-ng 2.17.2
udevd[351]: can not read '/etc/udev/rules.d/z80_user.rules'

/dev/sda5: clean, 193829/29327360 files, 11441542/117277952 blocks

Thanks
