Bottom panel opening and closing window

I just upgraded from 10.04 to 10.10 and now whenever I start my computer I have a window that shows up in my bottom panel that opens and closes constantly saying it's configuring (may not be the exact word, I'm translating). It also seems to do it whenever I click on a new window.

Any ideas?

I actually just disabled Compiz and it stopped. Is there any way I can enable it again without having this problem?
