how to make mouse move faster than what possible by Mouse preferences?

I know that my mouse (Logitech Anywhere MX) can move much faster than what I am getting in ubuntu.

I am wondering whether it is possible to make the mouse move faster than this or not.

it is really annoying, in Windows the mouse works perfectly and in Linux it is so sluggish and if I reduce the precision it work not perfectly.

any way to increase the mouse drawing speed in X?

Judging by the model of the mouse, there should be an On-Board DPI adjusting button (s) It's what I have in my G9
