If you're getting a slow connection from the servers have a go at the torrent file.

I'll be seeding the desktop downloads for a couple of days to help alleviate server bandwidth.

Stay cool.

I didn't even bother to check the main servers, I fired up KTorrents and it took like 15~20m mins for the live CD to download. AWESOME!!!

No it wasn't, some people use torrents for piracy, and that's illegal. Torrents themselves are not.

As much as big media would like you to think that they are.

You honestly can't be blamed for thinking that. If you only use the internet for a few things like facebook or music and listen to the media for everything else you're going to think that way about a lot of things. All torrents are is a way of downloading en-masse, or from a lot of people at once, to make torrenting illegal would be like making downloading anything illegal.

You guy are lucky. I spend the whole night using Torrent and now still got almost 3 hours to go. I definitely use up my ISP cap. Hope its worth it.

I am fascinate by my low contribution upstream thus far on this release... not one of the versions I am seeding have a even gotten to a 1:1 ratio... And I have been seeding not stop from only a few hours after release (@ 100 kilobytes per second capacity I normally reach figures of 4:1 and 5 :1 quickly)

Hm, works for me with transmission: my ratio is 6:1 at 100KiB/sec. (seeding three ISOs, 20 connections per torrent). 12GiB uploaded in two days at that poor upload speed translates to almost always full speed.

Indeed. Knives aren't illegal while murdering is. :guitar:

And killings won't stop with forbidding knives. Try to explain this to the media industry. :D

I am using Deluge but I have no restrictions or anything activated and they are seeding.... just very slow and sporadically... Oh well... I am trying my best :D
