Hello all,
I installed 10.10 release this morning on a Dell XPS 1645 model. It has win 7 on it. I did the side by side install. Rebooted and it worked okay. Booted into windows to check on that, and aside from it having to recheck the hard drive, I guess due to the partition of it, that worked too.
I rebooted back into Ubuntu and that worked, but then rebooted after installing a video driver for the ATi. The one tested by developers.
The reboot came up with an error in which it says no module found. BIOS sees the hard drive but there is no OS on it.
I'm booting off the install CD now. I see the partitions are intact and files are all there.
How can I fix this, I'm a little freaked out and could use a hand.
