No hdmi output

Recently I've downloaded and installed Ubuntu 10.10

I've ran into some problems though , when I use my HDMI cable to connect my monitor to pc it doesn't have any display. Not even the starting HP splash screen and I can't access BIOS or anything , but when I use the normal analog cable everything works.

Any suggestions? It all worked perfect till I installed macubuntu and restarted pc.

Hi - I know that the HDMI outs on 1 specific brand of dell mini (the 10v?) was broken on 10.04.

Hoping that it may work on 10.10.
