hi there. lacking a usable phone connection in my new flat i have to use a mobile stick to access the internet. as usual the data-plan is limited to 5gb. when 90% of the data-plan are used the stick receives an sms from my service provider to warn me, when it is used up i get an other sms which i can replay to to book 1 or 5 more gb.
atm i have to boot up windows to receive/send these sms. are there any useable linux native apps you could recommend instead?
i found a quite long list here (http://tuxmobil.org/phones_linux_sms.html), but the few i tried where horrible old and ment to be used with a mobile-phone connected via infrared or serial port.
