I have a 500 gig hard drive and only have Ubuntu 10.4 on the system. I want to install Windows XP on a 65 gig partition.

It's been a while since I've partitioned a hard disk with ubuntu and I was wondering if someone could guide me with how do to it.

Thanks.

With Ubuntu live CD or with Gparted live CD (http://gparted.sourceforge.net/) resize your Ubuntu partition. On that unallocated space install Windows. After that you will have to reinstall grub following this (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Grub2#Reinstalling from LiveCD) guide.
