I have installed ubuntu server and then kubuntu.desktop. Network Manager show no connection although connection works fine. I have wired connection which is established automatically but NM simply don't see it or it's not working or so
I don't have any problems with that now but I'm intend to be able to switch between 2 networks (wired and wifi) easily so it would be great to have NM working.
So the question is how to investigate the problem and fix it?
And second: is it safe to remove NM and install something else? The last thing I would like to achieve is the automatic connection I have now. Is there something better than NM?
