Switch to Vbb forum software?

Howdy all,

As I look at phpbb I am not sure this will be the best solution for the forums. I would like to see this forum soar. I have been working on a VBB setup that works much better with the mailing integration and besides VBB does have some cool features. :) All user data/posts will be imported if we switch.

So.. to switch or not to switch is the question. Let me know thoughts and concerns.

It is really up to you, but I do think that phpbb is more in the spirit of ubuntu. I have seen php running beautifully with thousands of users and several hundred thousand posts.

I don't think it matters. You should choose whatever you feel is easier to maintain.

Actually, after viewing this system for a bit I think I like the other system better. But I'm not the one that has to run it.
