Hi,

I am sending a CD/DVD to my not so tech savvy friend in India. Though they do have internet connection there but it is not as fast as we have here in US. I want to make sure that it has all the needed driver a couple of software.

What is the best way to do it? Does DVD have all the drivers needed? I have tried Ubuntu Customization Kit UCK but when i installed the CD it didn't support the hardware and i had to install it later manually.

My friend has a HP Compaq laptop. I am not sure of exact model.

Thanks.

I'd suggest linux mint as a better solution for you, since it preinstalls codecs, flash and such stuff. You can probably use something like remastersys to make a custom iso but I'm afraid I can't help you with that. :/
