View Full Version : [SOLVED] 10.10 and 10.04 shared home

I have installed Lucid and Maverick RC alongside each other (separate partitions) but sharing a home partition. My question is can I log in to my lucid account from maverick? It does not appear on my maverick login page but it is accessible from my places menu (home).

NO. You can only run one OS at a time, unless you run one in a virtual environment.

Agreed, but I have now managed use my Lucid accounts on Maverick. Just needed to add them to my users in Maverick. Lucid is not running but the accounts are in the /home partition which is shared.
