Hi,
running Ubuntu from the Live CD, I could not see the wireless network.
Based on the advice in this thread (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/bcm43xx), I went and opened up the System - Hardware Drivers.
As expected, the "Broadcom STA Wireless Driver" was already listed, but not activated.
Now the weird thing, I pressed "Activate" and was expecting an error as I was not connected to any network.
But instead it just worked. I assume that means that the driver is now included in the installation ISO.
In which case though the documentation needs to be updated
BTW I am running on a DELL VOSTRO 3500.
Apart from this slight quirk - all's well and good in Ubuntu!:KS
