This was an interesting read, similar to copyleft, but a bit more extreme.

That blog is very interesting. Whenever I release a piece of my work on the internet, I try to use the Zlib licence as much as possible, but change it slightly. I remove the copyright notice and make giving credit required in the documentation (all of the contributors) if you choose to sell the work. I don't know if this is similar because it's not making the piece of work 'owned by the whole world', but I am another person that thinks copyright is harmful (especially in its current state). Seems lawsuits are tossed around like a ball now.

Now all we need is a copyright bias that forces you to distribute it in order to use it.

I suggest the name copynow.

I still prefer copyleft, this is too extreme for me.

Nothing to do with copyleft. The whole point of copyleft is there there are some conditions you must follow when redistributing the work. A license where there are no conditions is the exact opposite of copyleft.

copyleft is superior.

Only if you think it's a problem that proprietary derivative works are made.

I said similar, if uncopyright had a clause about attribution it'd be copyleft like that of creative commons. (http://creativecommons.org/about/licenses/)

"You let others copy, distribute, display, and perform your copyrighted work — and derivative works based upon it — but only if they give credit the way you request."

No. Copyleft is implemented in CC licenses by the SA (share alike) clause, not by the BY (attribution) clause.

Right, but at least copyleft gives you either option.
