i have downloaded firefox-3.6.4.tar.bz2

i want to install this from terminal.

plz specify the commands

why not just add the repository and install via apt-get ?

Firefox is in the Ubuntu repositories, so all that's needed is:


sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install firefox

Easy. :)

hey

i want to install it offline i have already downloaded the tar.bz2 file.
