I've just developed this plugins, I hope someone, apparts from me and my girlfriend, finds them useful. They are based on rhythmbox open folder plugin (http://www.infinicode.org/code/rb/), so works similar, adds an entry in the right click menu in rhythmbox.
Search the artist on the wiki
Search the cover online in Google
Open the current cover
Saves the cover in the origin folder
Saves the cover embedded inside the mp3 (needs python-mutagen for work)
All of them are in English (sorry for my bad English) and Spanish. All works for me, in lucid.
You have to extract them on ~/.gnome2/rhythmbox/plugins/

PD: If you could see the cover in rhythmbox but you can't save it, just drag & drop the cover inside rhythmbox, worksaround for DesktopArt also, :).
