Update installed 2.6.32.25, but everytime I boot into it, Ubuntu does a file system check, and either tells me my Harddrive is corrupted or complains that it cant find a large list of locations / files / directories.

I can log in from a console, but it spews messages (from memory):
ecryptfs Unable to allocate Crypto cipher [aes] -2

and my home directory is replaced with some instructions for ecryptfs which fail with the above message.

I looked this message up - but the only hits were "make sure it's all installed right" with no instructions.

Rebooting and choosing 2.6.32.24 works fine

Ideas?

Since the system works with the older kernel, it is obviously a bug in the new one. It would be great if you would open a bug report in Launchpad (or confirm it, if it is already opened).

Meanwhile I would just use the old kernel, plain and simple.
