Hey guys,

I have this crazy idea where I want to create a router using one of my old Athlon XPs. So, I thought of using Ubuntu Server to be the base platform for achieving this crazy goal.

What I have now:
AMD Sempron 2400+ (Athlon XP, 1.6 GHz)
1 GB DDR-400
80 GB IDE drive
1 x SiS Fast Ethernet Interface
1 x 3Com Fast Ethernet Interface
Ubuntu Server 10.04

I've done IP forwarding using iptables before, so that's what I'm planning to do. However, I don't know if iptables support uPnP. I'm thinking of setting up uPnP because I have 3 gaming machines (2 desktops and 1 XBOX 360) and it's a lil' too tedious if I opened the ports manually. So is there a way to enable uPnP on Ubuntu Server? It doesn't make sense to run a router with the firewalls down either.

Thanks,
