Hi All,

I'm using Ubuntu 10.4 and when I'm about to install Mantis Bugtracker web application using
sudo apt-get install mantis I can only get version 1.1.8 - 2009

How to get the latest version 1.2.3 - 2010 using apt-get ?

When i tried to overwrite the /etc/mantis directory with the latest version from
http://www.mantisbt.org/download.php it failed to start.

Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

AWT

You can't get software with apt-get if it's not available from a repository, and it doesn't look like the version of mantisbt you want is available. Instead, check out the installation instructions:
http://www.mantisbt.org/manual/manual.installation.php
