Hi All
I tried to install Ubuntu Studio 10.4 on to an old Compaq TC1100 Tablet PC. All went well until it came to the software selection and installation part. It said that it had failed on that art but I could install them at a later stage. I continued to the end
When the system was restarted it stopped at the first non graphical login as if in terminal mode. It let me log in but I could not seem to do anything. i.e. ls produced nothing. sudo ls ditto etc.
I gave up on this and put 10.4 back without any problem
Tried the installation again on virtualbox on my main machine and come up with the same thing again
This machine is a dual core intel, 2gig ram 500gb drive
Any ideas anyone.
