i want to get my hands on the latest version of ubuntu, since im a new user, but my internet is slow and limited, so does anyone know where i can get a copy of ubuntu in Lebanon, Beirut to be exact?

Go to www.ubuntu.com or www.canonical.com and there you can request a CD with the latest version on it.
They will send it to you free of charge.
