Hey everyone,

As you can see from the title above, I have my iMac desktop computer set up like that. To boot between OS'es I have a Mac "boot loader" type that would let me choose what to boot at the beginning called rEFIt and I would get four different icons per OS. Okay, now, whenever I choose the Windows Icon or the Ubuntu icon, I would immediately be greeted with a GRUB2 menu. How would I take that off? Many websites including rEFIt main page tells me to install to the Partition Boot Record, with no exact instructions. So I have been testing between many commands and at the end, I added an extra partition mistakenly, without even knowing, which is another Ubuntu partition I didn't know how it got there but, when I click on it, the entire screen shows GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB etc.... So I decided to wipe my computer and start again. Can someone please tell me how to move the Ubuntu bootloader GRUB menu so when I choose the Linux Icon, it would boot Linux and when I boot Windows, I won't see a GRUB menu?

Thanks

Nicholas
