claws mail is crashing when loading plugin

Hi,

I have the newest ubuntu version (64Bit) with claws mail 3.7.4.
When I click:
Configuration->Plugins->Load
and select the python plugin, claws crashes as soon as I clock ok.

Can something be done?

thanks for the reply. I posted this a long while ago and by now I am using thunderbird.
I do not know if did have python-dev installed.
