Train up a bit, they would be glad to have you. I think they would like an employee that is such an aware user.
Regardless thanks for the notice, it is out of my league as well. :)

If you're unqualified, "training up" will likely take a few years, and by that time the position will no longer be available. Employers want to see education and experience. Often certifications as well.

I am not an idiot. I am just being optimistic. Sometimes being so means more than all the certification in the world, of course it will not matter, I know this.
Positions available now might just be available 'in a few years' or new positions. Go for it and get the certification in that time.

No harm in trying or you can join their internship program.

For someone who is approaching the point of an unhealthy obsession with Firefox, it can't hurt to submit a resume. It's not like they'll cut off one of your fingers if they don't hire you.

I live in Brazil, so that wouldn't be easy.

Unhealthy obsession? I guess I should lay low for a while :)

I'm not sure why you think you aren't qualified when you clearly are a extremely capable Firefox addon developer already. :) Is it the academic requirements?
I probably qualify but I am happy with my current job. :) :(

Honestly, I thought you already worked for them since you're such a promoter.

Well, it would be really nice. Maybe in a couple of years. I still have a lot to learn.

I just love Firefox and really enjoy developing extensions for it and helping other users.
