I'm just wondering if this is on the table, every other modern browser now has one (I don't know about safari), and it's an insanely useful feature. I know there are addons to provide this functionality, I use one myself, but it'd be an excellent integration into the vanilla install.

I agree it would be nice, specially if such tool creates dials dynamically, based on most visited sites. I haven't read anything about the possibility of such feature being part of Firefox 4 core.

You can vote for such feature at https://firefox.uservoice.com/forums/57440-firefox-4-beta/suggestions/888153-top-sites?ref=title

I prefer assigning sites to the dial myself, but I'm guessing both options will be available.

I also like to assign my own sites, but both options would be great.
