EDIT: All is well! I put the install on a different USB stick and it worked fine! Thanks anyway.
Hi all, first time here, total newb when it comes to Linux, but I'm excited by the possibilities!
I am trying to run 10.04 remix from a usb stick. I've installed remix and it works when I plug it into my other laptop (Dell Inspiron 9300), so I know the usb is good. However, when I plug the stick into the Acer One, I get to the first boot screen and everything just stops.
The screen I'm referring to where it hangs is the one where the screen states : Press <F2> Go to setup and Press <F12> to change boot order.
At this screen, I can't do anything (neither F2 or F12 works).
Prior to attempting this, I changed the boot order for the netbook to look first for the USB stick (USB FDD).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
