I'm trying to customize my desktop with icons and themes downloaded from the web (http://art.gnome.org/themes as an example). Some of my themes appear Ghosted-out with a big "?" on them. Description says it's not installed, but I downloaded it and installed it exactly like another one that appears in the list and works correctly.
Same thing wil Icon sets. Some work, some dont appear to work. I found a utility called Gnome Art that appears to go out and download/install appearance items, and in fact seems to list the very same items ( and more) than I have already downloaded and installed. Even after re-downloading from Gnome Art the appearance item ( in this case icon packs) don't seem to be working.
Maybe I'm missing a crucial step or component?
