Glut window problem. Can Compiz and OpenGL be on at the same time?

I currently working on a project using openGL and I like to have the cool effects of Compiz? Is there a way to have the two play nice with each other, because currently they don't. The OpenGL window shows only for a second and then only shows the area inside the window.

GLX dock with Open GL works with Compiz , so I don't see why not.

A friend of mine told me it's likely the driver.

Does anyone know any good graphics driver for the eee pc 1000ha?

I have the same issue. I read somewhere that the fglrx driver from 10.04 does not have the incompatibility.
