IrisPen executive 6

Hello, i have an IrisPen executive 6, but Ubuntu 10.04 do not recognize it when plugged with USB. Will it be recognize in a new version of Ubuntu? Does anybody knows a solution? Thanks

I don't know how to make it work, but I found this
page for xsane that shows it IS supported.
