Cannot start evilwm from gdm/slim

Hi,
I can't start evilwm session from gdm nor slim. I have also created the evilwm.desktop file and still it does not work. Please can someone help me here, I am dying to solve this issue.

Hello all,
I used the following guide in order to solve my issue:

I just replace my settings for evilwm appropriately in the ~/.xinitrc.
