I am not having a problem but I was just wondering, now that 10.10 launch is coming nearer, whether or not to upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10. 10.4 is working fine and the only real reason for me to upgrade would be a better boot time (is there a better boot time with 10.10?) ... or am I missing an other important reason?

If it ain't broken, don't fix it.

10.04 is getting a real good release, so now is the time to switch to this one, not abandoning it.

It depends on what you use Ubuntu for. If it's a personal desktop, and you like to keep up to date with the latest releases, then you could give it a go. I'll probably do a clean 10.10 install and just retain my /home partition.

If it's in a production or mission-critical environment, then you're probably best staying with 10.04 - the Long Term Support release.

10.10 is supposed to have faster boot times, along with better social networking integration, and an updated GNOME base platform.
