i searched the forums first and apparently im getting the opposite problem then most people with my laptop. my internal speakers work but i cant get any sound to play out through the headphones, the comptuer dosent even seem to recognize that headphones are plugged in because the sound continues to play through the speakers with the headphones pluged in. id really like to be able to watch netflix (via virtualbox) without waking up my roommates. running 10.04. any suggestions?
