Hi all,
I run Ubuntu through a bootable USB flash, did it with PenDrive Linux. it was up and running like a charm for months, till yesterday, I tried to turn on the os but the boot process stops after "Running /scripts/init-bottom...done" and just hangs for ever !!!
I tried several boot options (single user, noresume, acpi=off) but nothing changed. I also tried some of the older kernels that I had still installed but it always hangs the same place.
I have a lot of important files on my usb that I can't retrieve ! This is a big problem, please help me !
