After having upgraded to 10.04 I discovered strange behavior of the XFCE panel. When loading Skype or any other application that attaches an icon to the panel (Stardict,VLC) the icon is partially hidden under other panel items or lost at all. Killing xfce4-panel and starting it again helps in the way that half of Skype icon is seen from under the 'workspaces' panel.

Did anyone see such thing? Knows the fix? Should it be reported as a bug?

Sorry for bumping 2 year old thread, but I'm experiencing the same thing. Exiting Skype also helps.
